Introduction
Welcome to MyLearning, where you may interact with course content, other learners, and the course facilitator. Learners can engage in group discussions, upload assignments, complete compliance courses, assessments, and create documents collaboratively. MyLearning will also allow educators to setup and track face-to-face sessions and blended learning.
What should I do if this is my first time logging into MyLearning?
If this is your first time logging into MyLearning and you have an existing COMET or mCOMET account, log in with your Cleveland Clinic username and password. If you have never logged into COMET or mCOMET, click Create New Account.

How do I navigate MyLearning?
Once you log in, your home screen will display. From your home screen, you can:
- Access courses you are currently enrolled in
- Search for courses or access the learning catalog
- View your transcript
- Update your profile

How do I complete a course as a Learner?
Each course will specify which learning activities you must complete to be marked complete in the course. Click the progress bar on your dashboard to see what activities you have pending. Once you enter the course, each activity (PowerPoint, PDF, quiz, forum, web based training, etc.) will have a check box to track your activity. You will either check the box or the activity will automatically be marked upon completion, depending on the criteria determined by the instructor.

How is the My Courses block populated with courses?
The courses that display in the My Courses block, are courses, certification, or programs that are assigned by the enterprise, institute, department, or your manager. The My Courses block also included courses that you have self-enrolled in.
What should I do if I am prompted for an enrollment key to access a course?
Some courses are secure and need additional verification. Please contact your course instructor for the enrollment key.
What should I do if I receive the message "you cannot enroll yourself in this course" when I try to access a course?
You will need to contact the course instructor to access the course.
What should I do if I forgot my login information?
On the login screen, click Forgotten your username or password? You can search for your account by username, email address, or employee ID.
What should I do if I experience technical issue?
If you are having a technical issue, please submit a Request Technical Assistance form located on the COMET login. This form gathers information about your computer system that our Help Desk uses to resolve your technical issue.
What should I do if I’m prompted to update or install flash to view an elearning course?
You will need to update or install Adobe Flash. You can visit this website to determine if you have the latest Flash Player.
What are Programs?
Programs are a bundle of courses that must be taken by the learner in a specific order. These courses may or may not have a CME/CNE/CE attached.
What do I do if my course is not displaying?
If you click the course link and the popup window appears, but the course does not display, please follow the steps for the course to display:
- Enable Flash in Chrome:
- Click
in the top right corner just below the red X. - Click "Settings" option from the list.
- Click "Show advanced settings..." link at the bottom of the page.
- Scroll slightly down to the "Privacy" section.
- Click "Content settings..." button.
- In the Content settings window, scroll down to the "Flash" section and select the option "Allow sites to run Flash".
- In the same window, go to the "Pop-ups" section and select the option "Allow all sites to show pop-ups".
- Click "Done" button to close windows.
- Close Chrome, re-open, and return to course.
What do I do If I get a message that my popup blocker is enabled?
You will need to go to your browser’s settings to turn your pop up blocker off. Since all browsers have their own settings, you may need to look up how to turn the pop up blocker off for the browser you are using.
